It is very important to choose right colour or texture combination for the interior design, but sometimes it is hard to select skirting boards that fit the colour of the flooring. Purchasing veneer skirting board for subsequent toning can be a solution. This type of skirting board is same to regular one in terms of materials or fastening methods. Advantage of the skirting board to be coated is an easy change of shade to match the floor colour by such methods as use of professional colouring systems, shading stain, varnish or colouring oils. Each method has its own peculiarities. For example, professional colouring systems remain wet for more than 24 hours and the colour can be adjusted to achieve the best likeness. On the contrary, the shading stain dries out in 15-20 minutes.
In any case, toning the skirting board gives an ideal opportunity to use the most daring and experimental design solutions in your room.
